Updated schedule for FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27

Hi Band Families!

Because of inclement weather on Friday morning, the CBA has decided to postpone the entire event by two hours.  Our original performance time was 3:45.  We will now be performing at 5:45.  Announcements for semi finals will take place at 7:15.  It will be a long and cold day.  Please have your kids dress accordingly!!  We will be going for pizza after the announcement.

Truck loading will be at 10:45 at Littleton 

Parent volunteers for the performance please be at the Air Force Academy by 3:30 to help. If you would like to have lunch arrive by 2:30. Please consider that there may be delays to get in due to Air Force Security checks.  See the attached map. Park in spectator parking. The sign up genius times have been adjusted. VERY IMPORTANT!!! Spectator and Bus Entrance into the Air Force Academy: all buses (charter, school district), private cars, mini-vans carrying spectators, etc. will enter the Academy ground via the North Entrance (Exit 156 off of I 25). Drivers must produce a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and vehicle registration.


From the food team:

Due to the two hour delay for this Friday's competition, we will be feeding the kids at the event instead of at the school as we had planned.  The kids will need to eat their own lunch at the regular time at school (10:30).  Buses will load at 11:45.  We will feed them a big meal at Airforce Academy between 2:00-2:30.  They perform at 5:45  and then wait for the results to see if they make semi finals.  It will be a long day.  Please send your child with water, snacks and money for the concession stand (think hot chocolate!) and for pizza on the way home.  Thanks!

We have a date for the End of Season Dinner!!!! We will have it on Friday November 17th in the school cafeteria. This year is a Potluck Dinner, and your whole family is invited!  We will be sending out two sign up geniuses.  The first one will be to see who is able to attend to get a count for the dinner. The second one will be a sign up for food we are asking for for the banquet.  Just sign up for what you would like to bring!  Thanks for your patience :)
