Pride" Marching Band Members and Supporters,
Here are a few items that I
would like you to be aware of:
- I have 32 tickets still available for the Drums Along the Rockies Drum Corps International (DCI) Show at Sports Authority Stadium at Mile High in downtown Denver on Saturday July 6th. Tickets are $20 each ($25 seats). The show features 4 of the top 10 Corps in the U.S. as well as the first appearance ever of the Carolina Crown to the state of Colorado. Tickets are on a first-come first-served basis. Please make checks payable to ENCORE.
- Attached is a Flier from an organization titled "Support Our Schools". We have partnered with them for a wonderful discount at the Melting Pot restaurant this month, a $5 donation to LHS Instrumental Music through their website gets you $25 off a meal for two at the Melting Pot. Please feel free to pass this information flier on to anyone who you believe might enjoy taking advantage of this offer.
- The next LHS Band Camp is on Monday June 10, through Thursday June 13th from 9am - 4pm each day.
- We also have our first LHS "Lion Pride" Marching Band Parent Meeting on Tuesday June 11th from 7 - 8pm in the Band room.
