Please help!!
We desperately need more Host Families for the students coming from Takayama, Japan in August. We need host families for 24 students and our LHS Host Families can host 1, 2, 3, or 4 students if they are able. The Takayama students will arrive at Euclid Middle School on Friday afternoon, August 7 at 4pm. We will need to host them in our Host Family homes on Friday night, Saturday Night and Sunday Night. The students will then need to meet in the front of the school at Littleton High School on Monday morning, August 10 at 8am in order for them to depart on the rest of their tour. We have activities planned for all host families and their Takayama students on Friday evening for dinner as well as on Sunday afternoon/evening for a get together dinner and farewell party. The primary purpose of our hosting these students from Takayama is to provide them with a host family experience in an American home in order to promote understanding and friendship between Japan and the USA. Our hosting of these students is also a fundraiser activity to help support the costs associated with our trip to Grand Junction at the end of September.
