If you would like to join the band and ride on the school buses down to the State Fair, please let Mr. Emmons know by Wednesday of this week (August 24) so that we ensure there are enough seats/buses. He can be reached by email at demmons@lps.k12.co.us.

Another Band Parent Meeting will be scheduled very soon to go over additional details as the competition season starts.
LHS Lion Pride Marching Band shirts for parent volunteers can be made at PROformance Apparel (6905 S Broadway Ste 181). Just bring in a black shirt and for a small fee they will add the Lion Pride Marching Band logo.
Band Photos of each individual student and a group photo were taken on August 5 by Lifetouch Photography. If you haven't already placed an order, you should be receiving a set of proofs in the next week or so that will contain an example of your student's portaits that were taken on their picture day as well as a series of codes that will allow you to view and order your student's portraits online.
Band Fees will be paid through the student LHS accounts this year. The bookkeeper will be inputting these fees into REVTrack once the class schedules are finalized. This is normally a couple weeks after the start of the school year.
Donations Needed:
2 EZ Up Canopy Tents (to borrow or as a donation) - Can be dropped off in Band room.
Monetary donations to buy concessions for our CBA event in October - Checks of any amount can be made out to LHS Marching Band CBA and given to Nikki Sheeran.
