The band will perform at 9:00pm and the placement awards will be announced around 9:30pm. This is the most important competition of the season so far as the band will need to score well enough at this event to qualify to go on to the State Competition. The weather forecast is calling for some windy conditions, so we will most likely need volunteers to sit with the backdrops/scrims to keep them from blowing away! HELP! WE DESPERATELY NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS TO HELP!! Every band family needs to participate in some way at this event! This is our primary fundraiser for the year and is why our band fees are so low compared to other schools. Come see a performance of all three LPS marching band field shows at the stadium at LHS! This is always a wonderful evening for the students from each school to watch the other shows and feel a sense of community within the intstrumental musicians of the Littleton Public Schools. All middle school band students are encouraged to come watch too!

Saturday, Oct 29 - Possible CBA Marching Band Semifinal and/or Final Competition at The Air Force Academy
If the band scores well enough in the Friday Quarterfinal Competition (among the top twelve 4A bands in the state), they will compete early Saturday morning in the Semifinal Competition. (We will not know a possible performance time until the outcome of the Quarterfinal Competition on Friday.) Following the morning Semifinal Competition, the top eight bands in 4A will advance to the Finals Competitions Saturday evening. Please keep this date open as we will need many volunteers to help with the field show if the band advances beyond Quarterfinals.

Band Update (10/9/2016)
The band performed yesterday at the Arapahoe Marching Competition. They did well enough in the morning performance to qualify for the finals and had their best show to date that evening with a score of 62.75. They finished in 10th place overall out of 18 bands (both 4A & 5A). Congratulations to the students, directors, and all the volunteers that helped! It was a great day!!

Band Update (10/2/2016)
The band had another successful competition yesterday at the Pomona Marching Festival. They competed against 23 other bands (several of which were very tough 5A bands) and ended up in 11th place overall! Thanks to all the band families that helped with equipment, food, & cheering on the students. It is very much appreciated!
Also, thank you to everyone who came out for the Chipotle Fundraiser on Tuesday, September 27th. We raised $228.60 for the marching band!

Pomona Marching Festival & Rehearsal/Restaurant Fundraiser
PLEASE HELP!!
The Pomona Marching Festival is this coming Saturday, October 1st and we still need many more helpers! As of today, we have only 8 volunteers for the performance but we need approximately 40! Volunteers are needed to help move equipment, instruments, backdrops/scrims as well as loading/unloading the truck both at LHS and at the performance venue. Please help the band have a successful day by volunteering your time. They perform at noon and if they do well enough in the preliminary round, will get to perform again for the finals that evening. The band will be rehearsing on Tuesday, Sept 27th from 6-9pm. This night will also be Parent's Night. Please plan on joining the band on the field at about 8:20 for a performance of the show afterwhich parents will get to learn/march a portion of the show themselves. It's a fun night so don't miss out!
That afternoon/evening is also our restaurant fundraiser at Chipotle from 4-8 pm! We hope it will be convenient for students to have an early dinner at Chipotle before rehearsal, as well as parents to stop in for dinner before heading over to their part of the rehearsal.
