Band Update (9/18/2016)

The band had a fantastic day at the Friendship Cup Competition yesterday at Englewood HS. After a productive clinic in the afternoon, our Lion Pride Marching Band ended the evening with a solid early season performance which earned 2nd place in the AAA division! (This competition is judged on band size not school size.) Thanks to all the parents that helped with moving equipment, finishing backdrops, providing water, feeding the masses, and being there to support and cheer on the students! It wouldn't be possible without the parents and your help is very much appreciated by the band and staff. 

Here's what's coming up in the next few weeks:

Monday, Sept. 19 - Evening Rehearsal - 6-9pm

Wednesday, Sept. 21 - Band performs for Homecoming Bonfire - 6:45-8:30pm

Thursday, Sept. 22 - Band performs show for elementary students (Adventures In The Arts) - morning during school

Friday, Sept 23 - Homecoming Parade through downtown Littleton - 3pm

Friday, Sept 23 - Homecoming Football Game halftime performance - 5:30-9:30pm

Tuesday, Sept 27 - Evening Rehearsal/Parent night- 6-9pm - Come at 8:20 to watch the students perform their field show and then join the band on the field to learn & march some of the drill. Please plan on attending to cheer on the band and have some fun on the field!

Wednesday, Sept 28 - Possible rehearsal TBD- 6-9pm
Saturday, Oct 1 - Pomona Invitational Marching Competition - look for detailed information and a signup to help coming out this week.

If so, Nancy Egelhoff has set up a Shutterfly site where we can download and share our photos! (Thanks Nancy!) There is an album set up for all events so far, and she will add new albums as the season progresses. Parents can add their own albums to the site--labeled with event and date please--or add photos to the albums already created (under the Pictures & Videos tab).
