CBA 5A Regional Competition held at LPS stadium this Thursday October 18



Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for being able to help host the CBA 5A Regional Competition held at our wonderful LPS stadium this Thursday October 18!  This is our largest fundraiser of the year and a very fun event to host so your participation is greatly appreciated and valued.
I know SignUp Genius will send you a reminder e-mail but I here is one more reminder of your duties for that evening.
First of all, please check in with me, Cindy Emmons,  at the concession stand at the top of the stadium to get your CBA Hosting Volunteer nametag before you go to your position.  I recommend arriving 10 minutes before your shift arrives so I can ensure everyone is in the proper place and I can make any last minute adjustments if needed. 
Second, wear your LHS black marching band shirt or plain black shirt and comfortable jeans and shoes.  Be sure to bring a jacket and gloves if you are working the field events.
If you are working a field event (Band Ramp, Mid-Field, Pit Ramp entering off of Littleton Blvd) I will have a sheet outlining your duties for that position so you know how it works.  I will give you that sheet when you check in at the concession stand. 

Here is the list of volunteer duties and time frames.  Again, thank you soooo much for helping to run this event.  You will have a blast!!

Band parents rock!!! Thank you each and every one of you wonderful parents who contributed food for the band today. We were all absolutely amazed by the amount of homemade goodies that showed up. It was a feast! A wet, cold feast!! And thank you, thank you, to everyone who pitched in to make our impromptu band feed happen. What fun! This is a very special group. And the band is so lucky to have you all!
Any leftovers we had today will be used on Monday to feed the kids at, or before, Regionals. If you are missing a serving dish, look for it in the band room late next week.
