Band Party - sign up by August 12th!
Hello Band Families!
Let's
celebrate the end of another successful Band Camp and kick off the new Marching
Band Season at DeKoevend Park on Thurs, August 14th from
4:30-8pm! The park is located at 6301 S. University Blvd,
next to Goodson Rec Center. A volleyball net will be ready for sets and
spikes! Feel free to bring frisbees, folding chairs and blankets.
Look for the shelter with the purple balloons!The party is open to band members and their families. Please sign up to bring a food item or paper goods (one sign up per family - please sign up no later than Tues, Aug 12th). Here is the SignUpGenius link:

Many of the items are reasonably priced at Costco. If you would like to make a monetary donation toward the cost of the entree instead of bringing an item, please make your check payable to Stacey Shigaya (with "Band Party" on the memo line) and mail it to me no later than Monday, Aug 11th at 8634 E Eastman Ave, Denver 80231.

Car Wash
The marching band
car wash planned for Saturday, August 9th is cancelled. If you have
towels or other car wash supplies that are stored at the school that you'd like
to pick up, they will be placed in the band uniform room on top of the shelves
this week.
If you wish to leave
them for future car washes they will be used and appreciated! They'll be
removed from the band room after this week and stored with the rest of the car
wash supplies.
Wagons Needed
The Band is
in desperate need of 1 or preferably 2 larger size wagons for Western Welcome Week
and other events. They are needed by August 15th. If you can
assist in finding and purchasing them please contact Lynn Wells at lewells2@hotmail.com.
This is not meant to be a donation you will be reimbursed by the band.
