-Pomona Fest Marching Competition is Saturday, Oct 3rd. This festival is at the North Area Athletic Complex (NAAC) in Arvada and will include a daytime performance for the preliminary competition and (hopefully) another performance in the evening if the band makes it to the final competition. -Evening Band rehearsals will take place Wednesday (Sept. 30), Monday (Oct. 5) & Thursday (Oct. 8) from 6:00-9:00 pm.
-The next Germany trip payment of $200 is due this week. Student payments can now be made by credit card through the school online payment system or paid by cash/check directly to the LHS bookkeeper. The online payment system can be accessed from the bottom of the LHS homepage. All family member/tag-along payments will still need to be mailed directly to AdvantEdge Travel & Tours, 6480 South Downing Street, Centennial, CO 80121. (The travel agency is working to get a credit card payment option, but it is not yet available.)
Looking Ahead
-The Regional 4A Competition is Tuesday, Oct. 13th at the Sports Authority Stadium in Parker. This will most likely be an afternoon or evening performance and a signup will be posted as soon as Mr. Emmons receives the schedule for this event.
