Tribute Ad in this year's LHS Football program

Don wanted to pass along this opportunity.

There will be a  "Lion Pride" Marching Band picture in the program and a listing of student names. If you would like to have an individual tribute in the LHS football program for your student below is information on how to do that.

Dear Parents,

This is your chance to show your pride in your son or daughter's hard work AND create a lasting memento of this football season by purchasing a player/participant tribute in the Game Day program that is currently being produced.  The Game Day Program is a professionally produced, 40+ pages, glossy, high resolution on 8 1/2 x 11 page size program, that features YOUR 2014 Football team, Marching Band, Cheer and POM Teams!

Don't be left out!  The deadline for Player/Participant Tributes to be submitted is Sunday, 8/17 12:00 midnight!!!

Who is eligible for a tribute?

All players or participants of Football, Marching Band, Cheer & POM Teams including managers, coaches, trainers or assistants of those squads.

How much does it cost?

It costs less than five "Iced, Half Caff, Ristretto, Venti, 4-Pump, Sugar Free, Cinnamon, Dolce Soy Skinny Latte" coffee thingamabobs - or, in simpler terms, only $25

Example of a tribute:
Player: Alex Gothard
"Keep up the hard work!  We are so proud of you.  Have a great 2014 season!
Love you!   Mom, Dad & Nathan"

I'm in! How do I submit a tribute?

Easy - just click the link below and fill in the information requested, then click the "Submit" button in the bottom left of the form.  You will receive a Confirmation message that your information was submitted successfully.

Where do I send the payment for the Player Tribute?

Colorado State Fair

Dear LHS Band Parents,

Two brief announcements pertaining to our participation and performances at the Colorado State Fair Parade on Saturday, August 23rd:

1.  $5 tickets are available (normally $10) for any families planning on going to the State Fair portion of our day.  The Band will march in the parade in Downtown Pueblo in the morning (this is free for anyone who wishes to watch) and then we will transfer over to the State Fairgrounds for another performance in the afternoon.  All band students will get into the State Fairgrounds for free, everyone else will need a ticket.
[ Note:  Please let me know how many tickets you would like by Friday morning!!!]

2.  We will need a couple of Pick-up trucks and trailers to transport our Large Instruments and Percussion equipment to the State Fair on Sat. August 23rd.  If you have a Pick-up truck or vehicle with a trailer that can drive to Pueblo and back that day, please let me know so that we can plan our transportation needs for that day.

Thank you,

Don Emmons, Instrumental Music Director
