I received the following email from Hiroko Takeyama from M.E.M. Travel here in Denver about the possibility of one of our families hosting a college student from Japan here in February and March while he studies English at ACC.

Hi Don,
Happy New Year! I hope you had a relaxing holiday with your family over the holiday season.
Don, I am contacting you in regards to a Japanese University student who will be staying here in Denver from the begining of February to end of March. He will be here to study English at Spring Internation Language School ( at Arapahoe Community College) to improve his English skills and experience the culture here. He is currently a junior at Tokyo University of Science in Japan, he is 22 years old now. Akiyuki Tanaka is his name, he seems shy but very polite.
We are looking for a family that could host him for about 2 months (it will be shorter than 2 months), perferablely a family in the Littleton area so he can commute to school by bus or by lightrail everyday.To help out with the homestay expense, we are offering the family $750.00 a month. I know it's a long homestay, but it would be great if you could refer us to a family that you recommend. I can answer any questions the family might have concering home stay, so please feel free to give out my office number 303-295-1300, or my company cell number 303-748-2071 or this email adress to potential host families.
I hope all is going will with the Kizuna Project, I have a meeting this coming Thursday regarding the reception the City of Denver is planning to have for the students.
