Hi parents,

If you have signed up to bring food or drinks for the band tomorrow, thank you! We will still be able to use it for lunch at school. Don would like to have lunch set up in the school lobby by 11:30. Feel free to bring your items by 11am or send with your student in the morning.

Thanks so much!

Dear LHS Band Parents,

This morning, I made the decision to cancel our participation in the Pomona Marching Festival scheduled for Saturday morning, Oct. 6th.
The projected weather forecast indicates snow on the field at the NAAC Stadium which will delay the event to the point that we could not be here to participate in the Littleton Community Day at LHS between 1pm and 3:30pm.

We will rehearse here at LHS between 9:30am - Noon, take a brief lunch break, then meet with our area 8th-grade band students and perform at the home football game at 1:00pm.  The game should finish before 3:30pm.

Thank you for your continued support of your students in the LHS Band program.

More chances to help with food for Pomona Festival on Saturday

More volunteer spots are now on the SignUp Genius to help with breakfast and bag lunch/snack pthis Saturday. Thank you everyone in advance for your help! It seems like a lot of effort to do breakfast and lunch but it will be a long day for the kids, and it really does make a difference in how they feel throughout the day....
And they really love that we care enough to go to the trouble for them!

Please bring your receipt, with your name on it and the event, to me. I'll give them to Jenni Wainner and you'll be reimbursed.

Thanks!

Hi band parents,

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of the amazing food you contributed to lunch at the Legacy Marching Festival last weekend!!! It was so good!! Homemade pastas, muffins, salads, desserts! It means so much to the kids, and to Mr. Emmons, that we care enough to put together a big festive lunch for them and celebrate all of their hard work. I know it is an extra effort in your busy schedules to make something, pick it up at the store, or show up and help set up. Thank you all. The kids absolutely love it!!

If you are missing a serving dish or utensil, I brought it home with me. It will be in the band room for pick up by Wed.

Thanks again,

Susu Baker.... and the food committee :)
