Banquet Reminder

Hello Band Families!

We are excited to see you all at the Marching Band Dinner this Friday, November 4th at 6 PM.  
We need to finalize our headcount for the dinner.  PLEASE RSVP BY MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 2, 2016 --Yes, that IS tomorrow night. :)

We are also asking people to look again at the Signup Genius and see what you are able to bring. We need more side dishes and salads. (Your choice--does not have to be home made! Just big enough to serve 15 or so people so nobody goes home hungry!)

Reminder re: photos and contributions for staff gifts

Photos:  Jess Quintana will be creating a slide show for the Friday, November 4, end-of-season banquet! Do you have photos? Staff Gifts:  Thank you to to those who have donated funds for the staff gifts. We hope that all families will contribute and support this tradition of thanking the dedicated Lion Pride staff and techs who go above and beyond for our wonderful students. The funds will be used to purchase Visa gift cards. Any amount is appreciated!  

Nancy Egelhoff is collecting funds and purchasing the gift cards. Your contributions in the form of cash or check (made payable to Nancy Egelhoff) may be:

(1) given to Nancy or Marty Egelhoff at the State Competition; 
(2) mailed (checks only, please) to 3723 South Newport Way, Denver, CO  80237; or
(3) given to Thomas (10th grade, percussion) at band practice.

State Competition truck loading time update

Mr. Emmons was able to reschedule the truck loading to late Thursday afternoon. The truck will arrive at 4:30 and we will begin loading shortly thereafter. Please sign up to help if you can. We still need more help on Friday morning at the competition, too!

State 4A Competition Information

The Lion Pride Marching Band will be performing at the State 4A Competition at 11:00am on Friday, October 28th at the Air Force Academy Falcon Stadium.

Reminder: Tonight (10/25) the band will have their Final Evening Rehearsal before State Competition from 6:00-9:00pm.

Please read the following link from Mr. Emmons which contains important information about the day's events. (Note that the loading time for the semi-truck has now been moved to 2:00 pm due to restrictions at the Air Force Academy. If we receive word that they will allow the truck to arrive later in the evening, the load time may be moved back to our original 5:00 pm time.)
